Join Skeiv Verden in the Oslo Pride parade!

We invite you to walk with us under the slogan: "Queer minorities standing in solidarity - STOP ALL GENOCIDE!" and "There's PRIDE in our background! Queer minorities stand strong".

During our flotilla, we can promise that politics meets party with music from the Middle East, Africa, South America and of course some classic hits.

It's important for us to be a clear and visible actor to highlight the challenges our target group faces; in their minority communities, the queer community and in society as a whole. We want to show that we are queer and religious and have different ethnicities, it is possible!

We want to reflect the value that started the queer movement, it was the minorities in the minority, transgender people, sex workers and queer people with different ethnic backgrounds who were at the forefront, and are still the ones who are hardest hit by discrimination and living conditions challenges.

With the polarisation we see in society today, and the atrocities happening in the world, we can't stay silent or sit still, so it's even more important than ever that we stand up, be visible and shout out for ourselves and all those we stand in solidarity with!

Join us if you think that:
- Anti-racism and queer struggle are two sides of the same coin, and we want a more inclusive queer movement!
- Transgender people with an immigrant background must receive adequate follow-up and treatment in health and social services and not be forced to pause their treatment - and that the discrimination must stop!
- Queer minorities stand in solidarity with all people groups in the world fighting against oppression. Stop all genocide now!
- Queer people in the reception system for refugees should receive better follow-up and be guaranteed stable and safe living conditions!

Attendance: 11:30am
*OBS: Make sure to be present on time!

Walk with Queer World in the Oslo Pride parade!

We're inviting you to march with us under the parole: "Queer minorities standing in solidarity - STOP ALL GENOCIDE NOW"! and "There's PRIDE in our background! Queer minorities stand strong".

We promise that politics meets party with music from the Middle East, Africa, South America and of course some classic hits.

It is important for us to be a clear and visible voice that points out the challenges our community face in their culture, the queer community and in society at large. We want to show that we are queer, religious and of different ethnicities, we exist!

We want to reflect the values that started the queer movement. It was the minorities in the minority, trans people, queer people of different ethnic backgrounds and sex workers that stood in the frontlines and are still the ones most affected by discrimination and unacceptable living conditions.

It is impossible to be silent with the great polarisation we see in our society today and the atrocities that are happening in the world. That's why it is even more important than ever before that we stand tall and shout out loud for ourselves and everyone we stand in solidarity with!

Join us if you think that:
- Anti-racism and queer struggle are two sides of the same coin and wish for a more inclusive queer movement
- Transgender people with an immigrant background must receive adequate follow-up and treatment in health and social services, and not be forced to pause their treatment - and that the differential treatment must stop!
- Queer minorities stand in solidarity with all ethnic groups in the world that are fighting against oppression. Stop all genocide now!
- Queer people in the asylum system for refugees should receive better follow-up, and ensure stable and safe living conditions

Meet up at 11:30
*NB: Make sure you are there on time!
