Welcome to an event-filled week with art, music, and honest conversations about gender, representation, challenges, mental health. And much, much more. Norway’s first Transgender Awareness Week is here, and it is international. Together with PKI (Pasientorganisasjonen for kjønnsinkongruens) and SAGA Bergen, our team and volunteers in Skeiv Verden Vest have worked tiredlessly to create, and in the name of Corona, recreate, a fantastic week of information, gatherings and interesting events. FINALLY – we have worked tirelessly to rearrange, schedule and to cordially invite you to Norways first digital Transgender Awareness Week. Due to the restrictions, we had to alter our program. Some things remain and some events had to change or moved over into the future. Nonetheless we are very excited for next weeks festival and look forward to see and hear from you digitally or at a safe distance. Our program is filled with art, music, and honest conversations about gender, representation, challenges, mental health. And much, much more. We will be creating individual events and put them on their facebook page each day.
