What is Skeiv Kompetanse Ung

A pedagogically prepared workshop

Queer competence UNG is our competence programme aimed at young people in schools. It consists first and foremost of a professionally based and pedagogically prepared workshop, which we offer to schools in Oslo, Eastern Norway and to some extent nationally. This lasts 90 minutes and is adapted to 9th grade and up to Vg3. The content is also adapted to reception classes and the like with varying levels of language comprehension. In addition, on request, we hold competence-enhancing lectures for teachers and staff internally, based on the needs of the school and our capacity.

Skeiv Kompetanse UNG also provides educational counselling for teachers and other school staff, as well as individual practical guidance for pupils who need it. We are also part of Regnbuefyrtårn - a joint project in collaboration with Skeiv Kunnskap, Rosa kompetanse and Restart that offers a comprehensive skills development programme for you, your colleagues and students.
