Organiser: Sex og Samfunn + Queer World.
Schools in Norway should prepare all children and young people to take part in Norwegian society. They should be taught to become good citizens who will participate and engage in the development of society for the better.
We know a lot about sexuality education in schools. In various surveys, both teachers and pupils have stated that there is too little teaching in schools, that it has the wrong focus and that queer sexuality and identity are rarely, if ever, thematised.
Questions we want to address in the conversation:
- Who is responsible for accommodating and caring for the queer student?
- How to deal with intersectionality in sexuality education?
- Who can the young queer person look up to?
- How can teaching staff make classrooms and school life safe for the queer student?
In the panel:
- Queer World: Birhana Mehari
- Queer Youth: Trym Karlsen

- The Free/Pink Expertise Education Association: Miriam Aurora Hammeren Pedersen
- City Council/City Secretary for Education Oslo Municipality: not confirmed
