Oslo-based designer Johnny Vo has teamed up with Josetein Wålengen of 10/10 Printing to support the work of Queer World by creating a unique t-shirt with a dandelion motif. The aim of the project is to collect donations for Queer World, which works to empower queer minorities.
I've illustrated a silkscreen motif where the dandelion symbolises survivability and strength, something I think many people, especially in the LGBTIQA+ community, can relate to. We don't give up, we grow and break through the tarmac if we have to!
The designer Johhny Vo is himself a gay man with a minority background and sees the work of the organisation as important. "I've illustrated a silkscreen motif where the dandelion symbolises survivability and strength, something I think many people, especially in the LGBTIQA+ community, can relate to. We don't give up, we grow and break through the tarmac if we have to!" - Vo says.
Queer World would like to thank designer Johnny Vo and 10/10 Printing for their support, and look forward to continuing the fight and work for a more inclusive society!
The t-shirts can be purchased at 10-10.no!
