What does it really mean to live openly as a queer person in Norway? How do you build a safe and happy life here? And where do you find people who understand what you're going through?

About the ABC seminar

The ABC seminar is designed to meet the real needs of queer asylum seekers and newcomers with minority backgrounds in Norway. The seminar offers a safe, inclusive space where you can:

  1. 1. Ask questions about your life, love, health and rights as a queer person in Norway
  2. 2. Learn practical tools for safer dating, healthy relationships and self-care
  3. 3. Understand the challenges of addiction and how to support yourself and others
  4. 4. Meet a supportive community of people with similar experiences

Travel, accommodation, lunch and dinner are covered for anyone travelling from outside Oslo. All you need to do is sign up and turn up.

(Do you live in Western Norway? Don't despair - we're organising an ABC seminar in Bergen in autumn 2025. Registration opens in August).
