There have been activities for our target group in Stavanger organised by Skeiv Verden Rogaland since 2022. The main activity has been Skeiv Kafe, where several members of the target group have come to a safe meeting place where they have had the opportunity to expand their network and meet other queers with minority backgrounds. Skeiv Verden Rogaland is also an active participant in several political actions, works closely with Fri i Stavanger and participates in Stavanger på skeiva.
Skeiv Verden Rogaland is a collaborative project between Skeiv Verden, Hinna Volunteer Centre and Eiganes and Våland Volunteer Centre, which has supported the activities locally and maintained contact with the Refugee Service and other important actors in Stavanger.
We are so happy that our members and activists in Rogaland are now ready to become their own local organisation!
